About this site
This is my personal notebook for two things: Notes on how I did something, such as setting up a tool or a piece of software, to keep that information to hand in case I need it in the future. And thoughts on current topics reflecting my opinion. I will keep these two in separate sections, tagged either as "Memos and Recipes" or "Thoughts and Commentary". Not everyone interested in one will also be interested in the other.
I will soon start two additional tags: "Astro" for astrophotography, and "Nature & Travel" to share hiking or boat trips, as well as restaurant visits.
The tool I am using
I am using Ghost to produce this website. It is running in a Docker container on a small server, and I found it quite easy to set up. You may want to give it a try.
Pictures shown as part of the blog posts are either photos I have taken, or AI-generated images made to look like pencil drawings.
